1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 tells us to rejoice always, pray continually, and in everything give thanks.
How in the world can we do that?
By remembering that, as Christians, we are in the world but not of it. We belong to God. Because of all God has done for us in Christ Jesus, we always have reason to be joyful.
My husband and I talk together continually. This is how God wants us to talk with Him–as if He’s our best friend. Continually. Can’t wait to share even the smallest experience.
Joy + Prayer = Gratitude
We give thanks not for all things, but in all things. In spite of all things. Because no matter our circumstances, God is with us.
